Almost the whole winter I was making plans for the first spring fishing session on the lake. When the warmer weather finally came I went fishing on the lake twice, both times for two days, but without success. Immediately I knew that I must take more time and must be more carefully prepared. So I was repeatedly feeding fish and observing their movement, until I finally managed to spend five days on the bank in the pristine nature of the lake.

As always I was fishing with the proven combination of SBS M2 pop up lifted 3-4 centimeters due to the grass, which is quite often found in the lake. I was adding to my rigs PVA mesh filled with corn, tiger nuts, 6 mm M2 SBS pellets, SBS M2 Method Mix and all mixed with the SBS M2 Spod Juice.

After 24 hours, in the morning I had my first catch, a really beautiful Grass Carp weighing 23 kilos. I was very happy with my catch because it was my first fish from this lake this year. Next morning I caught a 18 kilo carp.

Because of the good start, I thought that every day would be at least one catch. But unfortunately the wind began to blow, which in my opinion was the reason I never caught for the next three days. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the success I did have.

Because the weather was nice, I went over there the next day for only two day's and i caught two beautiful grasscarp (one 16 kg and second 20,5 kg). The first one was caught with SBS garlic 20 mm Hi Vis Fluro Pop Up. The second one was caught with SBS 18 mm M2 Pop Up. For attracting the fish I used corn, tigernuts, M2 boilies mixed with SBS Garlic Eurostar Groundbait.
